Well, Saturday Night at ten ‘clock

I know where I’m gonna be ….

I’m off to pick my team mates up

And head onto the main High Street

Everybody in the neighbourhood

Is dressin’ up to be there too-oo-oo-oo-ooo-e-ooo

Cos they wanna go and get blind drunk

And scrap with everyone you see !!

Saturday night on the High Street

Let’s see in which pub they are fighting

Punching and a fighting with any other fool they can find

There’s me and Dave and there’s Big Pete too

Katie and the rest of the crew

Cruising round in our old Transit van

Cos we’re the boys and girls in blue ..

Making sure we keep the mean streets safe

For that’s what we all love to do-oo-oo-oo-ooo-e-ooo

And we’re gonna have some fun

Locking up all the drunks fools too !!

Let’s see in which club they are fighting

Cos they’re a bunch of idiots and we are gonna spoil their fun

Got called down to the Candy Stand

A posh place the end of town

Where the rugby club were all around

Having some kind of special doo-oo-oo-ooo-e-ooo-e-oo

Well, they’d all had far too many beers

Many more than one or two

And were smashing up the place when we got there

But we all knew just what to do

Chucked five of them in the back of our van

And back to the nick we flew

Saturday Night on the High Street

Let’s see what trouble they’re causing

When they’re drunk and playing up in front of me and the Chaos Crew
